Artist's Description
Treasures is a grunge composition using vintage ephemera and multiple textures. This piece utilizes vintage writings, jewelry, and lace, with underlying floral watercolor elements. Together, these are things that remind us of a time long ago. What would one find in a lady's vanity a hundred years ago? Perhaps some pieces of jewelry and lace? Some letters from a beau or post cards from relatives in the old country? All of these personal treasures meant something. My how things have changed.
